TEACHERS.

SHONA BUTLER - DIRECTOR/TEACHER.
Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Performance, Musical Theatre, Acrobatics, Cheerleading.


Shona has been dancing since the age of 4, and has trained in Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary/lyrical, Acrobatics, Ballet, Cheerleading and Musical Theatre. Shona was accepted into the Dance program at the Queensland University of Technology, and has since graduated with a Bachelor of Creative Industries (Major in Dance, minor in Drama), and has turned her focus to teaching and choreographing. She is a Member of the ATOD (Australian Teachers of Dancing), & is also a Level 2 USASF Cheerleading Coach. Her choreography has won various prizes at eisteddfods and competitions around Brisbane and the Gold Coast, most recently taking out 3 sections at the 2011 AASCF Australian Championships, & 9 sections of the 2012 WCC Asia-Pacific Grand Finals.  Several of her students have been accepted into QUT, as well as into several different dance companies & programs.

ELIZABETH BANON - DIRECTOR/TEACHER.
Ballet, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Jazz, Contemporary, Performance, Musical Theatre, Acrobatics, Cheerleading, Fitness.


Elizabeth began her training at age 3, studying in Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Chorus, Musical Theatre, Cheerleading & Tap. Liz has had vast performance experience. She was a member of the Monika's Unlimited Performance & Eisteddfod team for over 10 years, has had the opportunity to dance with many leading industry professionals including Tabatha & Napoleon (SYTYCD, Kanye West, Cirqu De Solei) Tony Czar (Dancer for Brittney Spears) Eddie Morales (Dancer for Jason Derulo) James Blundell & been involve in the Brisbane Writer's Festival. Elizabeth has focused most of her career on performing & expanding her dance knowledge but has now turned her focus to teaching and sharing that knowledge & experience with other dancers.

BRADY SHERWELL - TEACHER.
Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Acrobatics, Cheerleading.



Born in small country Victoria Brady moved to Brisbane in 1989.  He started competitive figure skating at the age of 9 in 1994. He competed in many state and interstate competitions winning two Australian titles for primary and novice mens figure skating.  Brady also starred in two ice-skating productions in Queen Street Mall as part of Brisbane Marketing’s Christmas specials & was invited as a special panel judge as an artistic representative for Le Patinage National Ice-Skating Championships. As part of the state representatives for ice-skating training program commenced RAD ballet training with Brisbane Dance Centre & went on to dance at Dansing under Trevor Green studying CSTD and National Youth Dance Theatre as part of the ensemble team doing major performances at QPAC Concert Hall.  He has won several eisteddfods including the Brisbane title in jazz and modern up-tempo under the tutelage of Sue Harvey. Brady studied sports acrobatics and display gymnastics for 3 years under the tuition of Karlie Scott and Leanne Scott performing at National Gymfests qualifying for the World Gymnaestrada in Austria in 2006After graduating from high school was accepted into QUT bachelor of fine arts where he worked with the likes of Rosetta Cook, Shane Weatherby and Harold Collins.​
